Dr metin

Dr. Metin Mitchell

Managing Partner

Dr. Metin Mitchell is the Founder and Managing Partner of Metin Mitchell & Company.

He has been in Executive Search since 1992. He specialises in the recruitment of board members, CEOs and their direct reports. He has long and trusted relationships with a number of the world’s most prominent family businesses, conglomerates, financial institutions and industrial companies.

He is author of What makes an Outstanding Saudi Chief Executive? and Roads to the Top for Saudi Women.

An international speaker, Dr. Mitchell regularly speaks at high profile conferences on leadership of the future, and encouraging more women into senior roles.

He previously spent 19 years with the US executive search firm Korn/Ferry International where his roles included Managing Director for the MENA region, Managing Director for France and Managing Vice President of the European E-business practice.

He has, for many years, been closely involved in a number of corporate social responsibility projects. He has also served as Vice President – MENA at Save the Children.

He holds a Ph.D. from Aberystwyth University and received his business education from the London School of Economics. He is a certified Hogan® practitioner and qualified at the advanced interpretation level.

Bechir Ghosn

Managing Director: Client Services

Mr. Bechir Ghosn has over 18 years of senior level corporate experience. Prior to joining MM&Co., he worked for Bank Audi as a senior HR executive where he was responsible for recruitment and held various business partner roles.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management and in Hospitality Management from the Saint Joseph University (Lebanon).

In his spare time, he is an Image Consultant, creating and building personal brands for senior executives.

Mr. Bechir Ghosn has over 18 years of senior level corporate experience. Prior to joining MM&Co., he worked for Bank Audi as a senior HR executive where he was responsible for recruitment and held various business partner roles.

Jonathan Franklin

Chairman

Jonathan is a banker by training and a senior executive with experience in corporate finance advisory work, lending, capital markets, and relationship management and investment management – mainly in emerging markets. He worked for more than 14 years with The Olayan Group, where he last served as Chief Executive Officer of Olayan Financing Company. He joined Olayan in 2007 as Head of Investments and became the CEO in 2019. He also previously served as President of the Industrial Division from 2010 to 2016.  Jonathan retired in April 2021 and he remains as a Member of the Board and Executive Committee of OSHCO and joined OFC ExCom in May 2021.

He started his career with JP Morgan. Jonathan then returned to London after seventeen years with JP Morgan to join Chase Manhattan Bank as Head of Investment Banking for oil and gas companies in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He was a Partner at Ernst and Young from 2001 to 2005.

He holds a BA (Hons) degree in history from Cambridge University.

Katia Moutran

Head of Finance and Administration

Ms. Katia Moutran is a Finance Executive with over 20 years of extensive experience in financial reporting and technical accounting, audit and financial planning and analysis. Her experience spans across the USA, UAE, and Lebanon.

She has Proven ‘Big Four’ financial services proficiency combined with deep industry expertise in supporting financial institutions and FMCG companies. She has worked with Deloitte, Fidelity, PepsiCo, and most recently with PwC.

Ms. Moutran holds a CPA from the California Board of Accountancy and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Notre Dame University in Lebanon.

 

Ms. Katia Moutran is a Finance Executive with over 20 years of extensive experience in financial reporting and technical accounting, audit and financial planning and analysis. Her experience spans across the United States, UAE, and Lebanon.

Zeina Habr

Client Partner

Ms. Zeina Habr is a Human Resources Professional with over 15 years of corporate HR experience, holding a comprehensive knowledge of HR functions. She worked for 14 years at Bank Audi, one of the largest banks in Lebanon and the region.

She assumed a wide range of HR responsibilities under the HR Transformation and Talent Acquisition function at the Bank. Her role was at par with Technology and the New Workplace circumstances – all under the umbrella of the individual and life experience.

Zeina’s pivotal experience revolves around HR Transformation projects, HR Management systems and methodologies, Organization Design solutions aligned with the imperative for change and the environment, Development of HR documentation ranging from HR contractual agreements, HR policies & procedures to HR reporting, implementation of Grading Scheme requirements including Job Analyses, Job Descriptions, and Job Evaluations.

She is certified by the Hay Group and has led several assignments across the Group to align Job Descriptions, Job Evaluations, and Grading Schemes.

Zeina has also obtained the Hogan Assessment Certification which qualifies her to interpret and share feedback on results from the Hogan Personality Inventory, Hogan Development Survey, and Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory.

She holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management, both from the Saint Joseph University (Lebanon).
