From 2003 to 2010, Professor El-Hage was on the faculty of Harvard Business School, where he held chairs including Professor of Management Practice and the Ford Foundation Adjunct Professor of Business Administration. There he taught thousands of the world’s up-and-coming business leaders about Private Equity, Corporate Finance, and Corporate Accountability.

His vision is to make such high quality business school education available to top executives around the world – his current work includes running the Central Bank of Malaysia’s Financial Institutions Directors’ Education programme.

His academic credentials are grounded in practical experience. He has been the CEO of a PE-backed company for nearly ten years and is currently a trustee of the $30 billion MassMutual Premier Funds.

Born in the Middle East, he has a passion for assisting the region’s family firms manage the difficult transition to more modern forms of governance.
